The Liaison to Worcester Area Intergroup serves as a conduit between District 26 and Worcester Area Intergroup. The WAI Liaison attends both District 26 and WAI meetings to share information with each group. Both meetings are hybrid and can be attended in-person or via Zoom, and the meeting minutes can be used to report about each meeting

As a member of the WAI delegates committee, the Liaison represents District 26’s conscience and vote at WAI delegate committee meetings and decisions. The Liaison serves as a 2-way communications channel between District 26 and WAI in service to the local AA community.

The GSO document Intergroups or Central Office Guidelines further describes the role of Intergroups/Central Offices. The liaison serves for a term of 2-years.
