The District Committee Member (DCM) serves as a conduit between District 26 and Area 30. As a member of the Area 30 committee, the DCM represents District 26’s conscience to the Area 30 Delegate who, in turn, represents Area 30’s conscience at the annual General Service Conference.

The pamphlet Your DCM further describes the DCM’s role and responsibilities. The DCM serves for a term of 2-years and is a district officer, along with the Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary.
