Area 30 (aaemass.org), one of two A.A. General Service Areas in Massachusetts, spans the eastern half of the state (Area 31 covers western MA). Area 30 is divided into 27 AA districts, as shown below. Each district (or combined district) has a District Committee Member (DCM) who represents local AA groups. Each group is represented by a General Service Representative (GSR). In eastern Massachusetts, as elsewhere, AA districts and groups are represented at area assemblies and meetings by DCMs and GSRs, and each area is represented (at the General Service Conference) by an area delegate.
